Hi Sparrow families!
I am Kate Bauer, a local family photographer and fellow Sparrow parent of a Kindergartner and 3rd grader. I am honored and excited to be back for our school portraits this spring.

WHAT TO EXPECT
My goal is to provide a more modern approach to school photos - less forced grins and strange backgrounds, more natural light and authentic expressions. Kids are encouraged to be themselves and have fun while I highlight who they are in a way that allows them to feel comfortable.
WHAT TO WEAR
All portraits will be waist-up and outdoors against a natural green background (see example). Please avoid logos/graphics, bright/neon colors and ultra-thin stripes. Solid colors and subtle prints usually photograph best.
Consider allowing your child pick their favorite outfit within these suggestions to capture even more of their personality.
AFTER PICTURE DAY
Approximately one week after Picture Day you will be emailed a secure link to a private online proofing gallery which will have between 2-6 images of your child in both color and black and white.
You can then choose the images you want and order digital files and/or print products directly from your proofing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure, and there is no obligation to purchase.
You will have 7 days to place your orders before the galleries expire.
10% of Picture Day profits will be donated directly to Sparrow’s NEST fund!
